As a senior technical leader you will be expected to guide the team to delivery of complex, high-value projects within the next generation of Nexpose, a leading Vulnerability Management offering. Your diverse experience in building multi-tier, web-based applications in Java using a test-driven focus will allow Rapid7 to continue growing its ability to deliver innovative features that simplify security for our end users. Responsibilities Technically lead a collocated, cross-functional scrum team to deliver major product features. Lead the design and development of new features while ensuring alignment with our architectural vision. Perform code reviews and mentor team members in test-driven development, design patterns, and coding standards. Collaborate with customers, product management, and user experience team to build the best product in the industry. Be willing to take risks, be willing to fail, and be willing to continuously learn.

Requirements Demonstrated success in hands-on technical leadership and coaching. Strong technical skills in Java design, design patterns, and database programming. Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing to team members and senior management. Proven track record in a fast-paced, lean, results-oriented work environment.
