Job Description

Ensures successful implementation of designated application projects and fosters and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers. Provides broad technical and functional expertise within multiple business areas, in the analysis, design, development and implementation of applications to support business processes with little to no supervision. Supervises and develops a support team, managing the custom development of application systems and production support processes. Assists internal customers in new functional reviews, tests and identifies ways to streamline processes and improve the quality of customer service in addition to developing, delivering and maintaining application training modules where applicable.

Responsibilities Accountable for the overall development, delivery, stability, continuity and support of our NetSuite ERP/CRM environment and related tools/applications. Provides day to day troubleshooting of complex user and application problems Provides strategic, forward-looking vision when designing solutions to maintain flexibility, good exception management and future integration opportunities. Reviews business requirements for multifunctional projects offering solutions to business needs and identifies operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices and integration issues by suggesting alternative solutions. Manages/participates in large, complex projects from start to finish, complying with our internal PMO (Project Management Office) process. Supervises Analysts, Developers, and others assigned to the initiatives. Identifies any issues with timelines or completion of projects ahead of time and works through with internal customers. Coordinates all outstanding work, including small project requests, and ensures through the development and execution of testing plans that production issues are minimal after implementation of new enhancements, changes or upgrades. Documents system functions and processes for the Application Services and Technology group and selected items for our internal customers. Fully responsible for a team, who provide full-lifecycle software development expertise as well as 24×7 production support for all of our sites deployed on our NetSuite Instance. Provides application development services (conceptual, design, coding, integration, standardization, consulting, coordination, testing, and maintenance) for NetSuite ERP/CRM Systems. To include the periodic scheduling and regression testing of NetSuite’s Critical Patch Updates. Will collaborate with all Rapid7 stakeholders and the Program Management Office to establish plans and priorities to effectively allocate resources and manage budget. Lead / facilitate the NetSuite application steering committee meetings. Will maintain, deliver and present key operational and system performance metrics to all levels of business.

Requirements Education: BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent Experience: total of 8+ years business experience with at least 4 years in application design, implementation, modification or support in an online environment and at least 3 years experience supervising applications analysts, business analysts, and developers. Broad conceptual and operational knowledge and understanding of NetSuite ERP/CRM functionality and supporting infrastructure, as well as familiarity with integration of other applications to/from NetSuite. Understanding of relational databases and query tools, (PL/SQL, SQL) Business acumen; Ability to articulate technical problems and solutions in business context; Ability to help others understand new business requirements and processes Exposure to process and project management methodologies, tools and processes Ability to work collaboratively across the organization: interpret user requirements, identify the root cause, research possible solutions, identify most feasible solutions Proven track record in building, sustaining and navigating stakeholder relationships in and outside the organization Must be able to work creatively, calmly, flexibly and under tight deadlines in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting/multiple demands and opportunities Attention to detail, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines Self-motivated, able to inspire a team, work independently as well as with others Must have application functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: Lead Generation and processing, Software Licensing, Project Costing/Billing, Service, Order Management, Human Resources or Planning. Preferred knowledge in the following areas/tools: Sales Force, Marketo, Web Services, IT and Enterprise Architecture, PL/Sql programming, Data Warehouse, and systems integration.
