We are looking for a top-performing leader to to join our innovative People Strategy Team to aid us in building our critical infrastructure and programs.
Job Overview:

The Director of People Strategy Programs will be responsible for researching, creating, enhancing and implementing and the administration, communication and tactics of Rapid7’s compensation, benefits and performance management programs. The main objective for this role is to have the most efficient and effective systems that fit both our employees’ needs and our business strategy. The ideal candidate is a unique individual who brings strong leadership skills, is more than just creative – you are SUPER creative, has a detail orientation that borders on fanatical and strong communication skills. This Director of People Strategy Programs will also be responsible for staying in compliance with government regulations, internal equity, and ensuring that we are doing right by both the company and our employees.
Job Responsibilities:

As the Director of People Strategy Programs, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, working with our benefits administrator and finance team to ensure we are making the best possible choices for our people. You’ll work with our managers, directors and Vice Presidents through the compensation and performance management process – including the implementation of our new (yet to be selected) performance management system, compensation philosophy, etc. You’ll ensure that we are tracking and trending with market compensation data, and that our people are paid appropriately. You’ll own the reporting requirements and make sure we are compliant with all of the governmental policies and regulations. In short, you’ve got a big job – and one in which we want to find the right balance of a person who is truly passionate about getting this work done well – and making it “people friendly” in the process. You’re different in your field….and so are we.

Job Qualifications:

Should have solid knowledge of overall compensation, benefits and performance management strategy, implementation and rules and regulations. This is not your first rodeo and people consider you an expert in these areas. A natural ability to bridge creative ideas with the practical solutions– all while balancing what’s best for the employee with what’s best for the overall organization. Think King Solomon with comp, benefits and performance management. A charismatic leader, who can align teams and individuals. People want to work with you. A solid and natural ability with both project management and negotiating skills. Effective problem solving skills A solid professional, with 7-10 years of human resources experience, with a concentration in compensation, benefits and performance management.
