SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR — Linux SysAdmin

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Linux Systems Administration (Red Hat) - Virtualization Software (VMware, OpenStack, VirtualBox) - Automation/Continuous Integration (Vagrant, Chef, Fabric, Jenkins, etc…) - Web Serving Software/Architecture (Nginx, PHP-FPM, Redis, Varnish) - Scripting Languages (Bash, Perl, Python) - Monitoring Software (Nagios, Munin) - Concurrent Versioning Software (Git, GitHub or Bitbucket) - Networking Tools (Wireshark, Traceroute, Tcpdump, Dnsmasq)

JOB DUTIES:

- Manage and provision servers in our development, QA, staging and production environments - Interface with our hosting provider (Rackspace) - Audit server infrastructure and make improvements to our architecture - Support clustered web environment that receives 500-1000 requests per second - Work with Rackspace to manage/grow our hardware (we have a dedicated private cloud hosted at Rackspace) - Optimize server configuration and network architecture - Manage DNS and firewall rules
