StayClassy develops web-based fundraising software used by thousands of Nonprofit organizations across the globe. An internship at StayClassy requires at least 12 consecutive weeks of work at our office in San Diego, CA. If you go to school in the San Diego area, we accept applications on a rolling basis. For candidates coming from outside of San Diego, the internship would be from April through September, depending on your school’s schedule.
This internship is great for students who are looking to enter into a business field, especially those looking to engage in small, fast-paced companies with lots of potential for growth and knowledge.
Requirements (what it will take for you to get in the door):
Help current and new clients with day-to-day questions, ranging from minor sales inquiries, questions about the product and helping troubleshoot technical difficulties.
Organize and mange our customer support online help desk.
Aid in customer questions and issues pertaining to the Classy Awards, the nations largest philanthropic award show. (classyawards.org)
Pluses: - Some customer service experience is recommended, but not required. - Excellent communication skills are a MUST. - A passion for driving community engagement. - General computer skills & ability to use, Microsoft Excel, Google docs, etc. - Be organized and detail-oriented enough to manage projects with many moving parts. - Ability to work closely with customer support team, engineers and product managers. - A passion for innovation, change and thinking outside of the box; - Comfortable with a fast paced office environment, tight deadlines, and an office of all young people. - Business, Communication, Marketing major, a plus. - A passion for making this world a better place.
Additional: - Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week between the hours of 9 - 6 pm; Monday — Friday; from April thru September 2012 - Compensation: College credit available —OR— Hourly compensation.
