Job Description

MOGL, based in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego, is seeking a UI/UX lead designer. This role will be instrumental in the overall product strategy, and will infuse the product with ease-of-use, an emotionally satisfying experience, and that cool factor. This position will additionally set the foundation for the next generations of the company’s product.

The current and future of this product will deliver a wide variety of data in a way that needs to look organized, intuitive, fun and easy to use— and be something that gets shown off on an Ipad or Smart phone from one friend to another. As the lead UI/UX designer, you’ll turn the team’s abstract ideas and use cases into elegant UI that stands the test of time.
As a successful candidate, you’ll have the following attributes:
Skills Required:

  • UI, UX, Adobe CS, designer, interface, user experience- need examples in a portfolio of great UI projects.
  • A great UI/UX portfolio with several pieces of work in the consumer mobile app categories
  • Outstanding design and execution skills, including expert-level hands-on skills with Adobe CS or equivalent design tools
  • A passion for the user’s experience and the ability to execute, including wireframing and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of HCI, ID, and IA principles very helpful!
  • A real focus on collaboration and teamwork, and the ability to bring abstract ideas to life.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Contributing to product planning sessions with creative ideas for use cases and process flows
  • Creating a corporate look-and-feel and a signature user experience for the company’s family of products
  • Designing wireframes, prototypes, and UI artwork for communicating and implementing UI/UX principles
  • Making the product fun, cool, and viral!
