Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize, design and implement application features, both consumer facing and product based
• Ensure the delivery of a rich user experience
• Interface with other teams on a daily basis, including creative and backend engineering teams

Required Skills and Abilities:
• 2-3 years of experience developing consumer web applications and a basic understanding of user experience. Hands on experience at all levels.
• Experience in fast-paced, start-up environments where engineers play a direct role in conceptualizing product requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers as well as editorial/creative staff.
• BS in Computer Science (or related field) or comparable work experience.
• Experience of producing cross-browser compatible web behavior.
• Knowledge of open source projects a requirement, involvement in open source projects is desirable.

• Mobile web experience preferred
