Who are we?
Benzinga is a fast-growing financial media outlet backed by the founders of Groupon. We specialize in actionable trading ideas, insightful commentary and real-time news.

Responsibilities
We are looking for web developers who want to work on meaningful projects that truly add value to the company. Your projects will be hands-on and exercise creativity.

Benzinga is a tech startup, so no day is the same. In the morning you may build something for one of our main sites, while in the afternoon you may be working on the next wave of product releases.

Sprinkle in a little air hockey and table tennis and you have an average day at Benzinga (if there is such a thing).

This is a paid position.

Requirements
-Experience with PHP, Python for web or server scripts, and Ruby
-C++ is an added bonus
-Must have built a scaled web project in the past, preferably for a business or corporate client

As a small and fast growing startup, this internship will put you on the frontlines of the company where you will gain experiences you cannot find anywhere else. You will be given full ownership of projects that you will see through to completion, giving you a history of concrete deliverables that you have followed through on.

Additionally, due to the fact that we use our internship process as one of our primary recruiting tools, your performance can lead directly to a full time position.
